Here are some of the new trips offered in the brochure:
Discover Sierra Leone: 9 days from £2,349 including flights and most meals. The inaugural trip is scheduled for 11 March 2011.
Join one of the very first group trips to experience Sierra Leone – a stunning and untouched paradise in West Africa that boasts everything from the beaches where they filmed the original bounty ads to monkey spotting in dense jungle on Tiwai Island. Highlights of the trip include a visit to Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a night on Banana Island Guest House (an old Portuguese slave port) and a tour of Freetown, the vibrant capital city.
Turkey Adventure Week: 8 days from £849 including flights and most meals. Next departure dates are 27 May, 10 June, 24 June, 22 July and 29 July 2011.
An increase in demand for trips to Turkey has encouraged the introduction of this new, adrenaline-filled week in sunny Southern Turkey. Activities on this trip include white-water rafting on the Korprucay River, sea-kayaking on the Turquoise Coast and walking on the high-wre in the Adventure Forest but a highlight is a mountain bike descent from the hills to the coast. For the real thrill-seekers, there is optional paragliding and diving.
Elephants & Leopards of Sri Lanka – 10 days from £1,999 including flights. The next departures are 27 May, 24 June and 26 August 2011.
Known for its culture, its beaches and its tea, few associate Sri Lanka with its wildlife and yet the Yala National park has one of the highest concentrations of Asian leopards in the world. This trip, a ‘premium adventure’, celebrates the natural beauty of Sri Lanka with a host of wildlife including elephants and leopards. Minneriya National Park is home to ‘The Gathering’ – an extraordinary meeting of huge herds of elephants each afternoon. New, original and not done by any other tour operator to date, this is a pioneering wildlife safari giving the most valuable commodity of all in both parks – time.
